Sever Minerals customers visited Multotec hydrocyclones manufacturing plant in South Africa

Sever Minerals customers (AO “Apatit” representatives: chief repair specialist Konovalov Sergey Vitalyevich and technical development department chief specialist Savelyev Andrey Vladimirovich) visited Multotec hydrocyclones manufacturing plant in Johannesburg, South Africa. Alexey Tugishev, Sever Minerals CE and Projects department manager, accompanied them in this trip.

At the beginning of 2015, “Apatit” and Sever Minerals signed agreement for delivery of equipment for manufacturing of nephelinic concentrate in ANOF-3. Hydrocyclones will be manufactured in South Africa by Multotec company.

The target of the visit of Multotec Plant was acceptance of the equipment at the Plant, as well as learning more about Multotec hydrocyclones manufacturing process, manufacturing of rubber and ceramic lining for hydrocyclones.

Multotec arranged Plant tour for the guests in which they were accompanied by Multotec specialists Tatiana Savelyeva, regional manager, and Ken Taki, Multotec commercial development department general manager. AO “Apatit” asked questions about Multotec hydrocyclones installation and operation specific features as well as discussed details of further cooperation.

As the result of the visit, 3-side parties equipment acceptance protocol was signed at Multotec Plant before shipment of the equipment to AO “Apatit”. The protocol was signed between Sever Minerals, AO “Apatit” and Multotec Process Equipment Ltd.

Alexey Tugushev underlined after the visit that such meetings with participation of all parties are extremely useful and help to solve all open technical and operational issues efficiently.
